| How I got started into paganism! |
I was raised by a penticostal preacher and made to go to church for many years. This is were i found a longing for power and spritual things. After many nights praying and searching, I would always feel as if something was wrong, and it wasnt just my path. But being the christian I was I wouldnt give up. When I was 22 I started to look into being a preacher. This is were it all changed. I found that what i believed wasnt at all what I thought it was. It wasnt untill then I guess you could say my eyes were opened! A relly cool friend of mine introduced me to a book. At first I didnt want to read it. I was always taught that any thing not of god was the devil. (lol)<|:) But after a week of it drawing me, I brokedown and read it. (Raymond Bucklands Complete book of witch craft)It was like nothing I had ever read! It was what i had been looking for all along. Every thing that I saw wrong with christian churches, all the hipocricy, all of the BS.. was washed to a different place. I had found my mark! Needless to say that was a dawning of a new life for me. It opened me up to a power charged life like you wouldnt believe. I have since then changed my entire life around. "I figgured that you caught on that im not a preacher now. lol" It cost me a lot at the time, but my faimly came around. Is it me or do all other religions(including pagan based ones)seem to always be the only ones? This shit drives me crazy. We were all pretty much born the same"From a woman". We all seem to pretty much dress the same"one leg at a time". Then why the hell do we have to hate oneanoher because of something as trivial as belief in a god? If the goddess/god can love us, as petty as we are,then what is our deal? Are we destined to be ass holes our whole life because were human? Or will we one day see just how stupid we really are and be the inlightened beings that we can be? all it takes is a little dissapline and we can do anu thing we want to. We put a man on the moon, We sailed the oceans, we have cured sickness. But we just cant get along! We i love dragons and wizards so you will find my house full of them! I also am singel and looking although i dont drink so you want find me at a bar.(those places suck any way) Im ussaly riding horses or taking walks through the woods. I love romance "although im not gay" and shivelry. "i am a gentel man" other than that i work as a plumber or on computers.
